Am I legally considered her father

When I first met my wife she had one child that was just 2 weeks old by another man.He has never acknowledged her as his daughter. The original birth certificate was left blank for the fathers name.My wife and I both decided to go back and list me as the childs biological father and my name is what is listed on the birth certifiacate as the father. The childs name was changed from the mothers last name to mine and childs social security listed me as the father.I love her dearly. My wife and I have been maried for 6 years and the child only knows me as her daddy.would I be able to fight for custody or if not awarded custody would i be given visitation rights,

Yes you would be awarded visitations you are listed as the father that cannot be changed. Either one of you can file for divorce and you can get joint custody. Child support will also be ordered at the same time.
