Can minor children travel alone on airplane without mom's knowledge?

My ex husband has my 5 and 8 yr. old sons for the month of July. He will not allow me to call them or see them during this time. He has put them on a plane, by themselves, to Arizona for a 10 day visit with his mom. I was not told they would bel traveling alone. What can I do.

Are you sure he is telling the truth. The airlines will not allow children to fly alone any more they stopped that a few years ago. When they did allow it they had to be a certain age and that age was alot older then your children. You can call the airlines and try to make a reservation for them and tell them their age and you will find out that they can't fly. He either had someone fly with them or flew himself or is just telling you that.
