Please help me with information on Granparents Rights

My 18 yr old daughter secretly took our 6 mo old grandson to arizona without employment or education to support him. Also I was the main caregiver for him as his mother was always frustrated with him. Now she is with strangers and his father gets out of prison in a month as a felon known for having a temper. What can I do too make sure the baby is properly taken care of and in a good enviroment?

I don't know what state your in but i do know if your daughter is 18 she has every legal right to move out of state with her child. If she decides to get with the childs father when he gets out and it is for a felony it would be up to someone to report it if the child becomes in danger. The courts can't keep and eye on him all the time. The law in arizona is the grandparents can file for visitations if the parents have been divorced at least three months. You can get more information on this at www.lawarizona.edu/library/Research/guidles/familylaw/Grandparents. As far as the state that your in if she is not in the state then you would not be able to do anything she would have to be there.
