Well you know he really does not have to pay you anything other then the support that the court has ordered.Shared custody is not about the finaces it is about both parents having the right to make decitions for their child or children together. So many people think the joint custody whitch is the same as shared custody gives them more right to what they have to do like what your doing wanting something in writing. He is not oblagated to do anymore then waht is ordered if there is a stipulation stating that he has to pay 50/50 of everything then you need a copy of the order is all to show him. Without that order you can't make him pay anything more. You can always take him back to court and try to modifly the orignal one and stipulate you want him to pay 50/50 .

We have shared custody. I need something in writing to explain to him we are half half on everything finacially not just tim
Can get ex to understand its not just time its everything financially that is half half. I carry the load except for 112.00 a week. How can I make him understand without the court scene again?
