What are my chances

Basically my ex and i have joint custody of our 3 yr old. she is the custodial parent. Our daughter is with me on monday tuesday thursday and friday with a grandparent on wednesday and her mother on the weekends. I pay child support, pay for her daycare when she goes and for anything else she takes part in like her gymnastics classes. I also handle all of the transportation. I believe my household is much more stable. Currently i live with my fiance and her daughter who is 2 years older than mine. Her mother is single. goes to school and likes to go out on the weekends. Would it be worth my time to consider going back to court for custody or at least residential custody?

I would think so, as it seems from what you are saying that you are the primary caregiver at this point. If she is only with the custodial parent 2 days a week, I would think the court would take that into consideration for sure.

If i were you I would go back to court and see what they could do to have a better arrangement. I think if she lives with you and is only with her mom on the weekends that makes you the primary parent. I have custody of both my children and they see there fathers on the weekends giving them visitation (access) but I am the one who has custody. The court granted me sole custody of my son and his dad gets visits, i have custody but not sole of my daughter.

I think what your thinking of is primary placement and i think that would be a great idea. while doing so i would also as for a stipulation to change child support also since the child support is ment to support the child while in the other parents care and since you have the child more time you would pay little to nothing for child support and she may acutally have to pay you. any x activies that the child encures should be split between both parents. you yes your are most likely to win the primary placement
