What are the chances of my ex-husband being granted sole custody of our child?

I was granted both joint physical and joint legal custody of my child when I filed for divorce nearly 4 years ago. I have no criminal record and my ex-husband does. He now tells me he's going to file for sole custody of our child. What are the chances he will have this granted to him?

I wouldn't worry to much about it even without his crimmal record it would be hard to get custody. The court does not just take the child or children from the parent that already has physical custody.
