Who has rights?

Even though FULL TEMP CUSTODY PAPERS where established, but not established through the court and I signed a notarized letter giving my sons father all rights (but not established though the court, and father name is not on birth certificate) he still can take my son and not give him back? With this 4 page paper that I signed. Well the paper said he had primary residency, able to change my sons name, able to make important decision about health and school, etc... So, if he took my son and I called the police for kidnapping there is nothing that the police can do?

First of all, why did you give up all of your rights? Anyway, you should file for visitation with the court.

Well, he had been with his father since he was born and during that time I was going through a custody battle with my daughters father (which he won). It was just easier to give him that at the time. I could always see my son anytime I wanted. My sons father and I never established amything though the court it was jst between us and I am afraid that with that letter he can take my son back from me and keep him. I have no money for a lawyer. I don't want him to take me to court.
