Will the father of the baby get any custody rights?even if i dont trust him w/ my baby
I am almost 6monthsprego. The babys father is very imature lazy and spoild. i want to know everything i can about custody.his right my rights ect. the babys father lives withhisparents does not have a job, and has a dui. and wepon charges. hes been in jail once. i dont ever want him to be with my baby alone or take her overnight not even for a day by himself. when he found out i was prego he told me to get an obortion. he did not want a kid. since he siad that i havent seen him and have only talked to him 3 or4 times.

It does not matter if you are with him or not. You should still file for sole custody of the baby and have the court issue a child support order as well. I am not with my son's father either and I have sole custody of him. The only rights my son's father has is supervised visitation 1 day a week for 5 hours and he has to pay child support as well. Other than that he is to have absolutly NO contact with his son, me or my other 2 kids. I had a similar situation only he grabbed my 2 year old by the throat and was kicking and punching me while I was holding our baby trying to feed him. Trust me, no judge will refuse you sole custody if you tell them everything about it and what has gone on. They also do a background check as well.
