Given F = 10i – 5j with its point of origin at (0,5,0).
(a) Draw the above vector using a Cartesian coordinate system.
(b) Find the moment of F about the origin, O.

An object of mass 4 kg is in equilibrium on a rough surface which is inclined at 35°. The
coefficient of friction between the object and the surface is 0.68. Draw a diagram to show the
forces acting on the object and find the static frictional force experienced by the object.
Given the gravitational acceleration constant, g is 9.8 ms-2.
