If you are the original creator of your work, you can do whatever you like with that work unless you actually signed away any of the copyright rights. You need to look at the terms and conditions of the Internet essay site where you originally submitted your work. Some sites like that stipulate that something you submit to them can not be submitted elsewhere for a specified period of time. Some actually make you relinquish your copyright by submitting to them. By clidking on OK after reading their terms and conditions or by even submitting your work, you may have agreed to their terms and agreements without even knowing about them.
So go back to that site and read the terms and agreements. If they don't mention anything about restricting the additional distribution of your work or relinquishing any of your copyright rights, you can send your work to another site.

Can I infringe on my own copyrights?
I submitted 3 essays to a website that organised an essay-writing competition.I got selected to the top 6 based on them.I want to submit the same essays elsewhere now.Is that legal?
The website owners,I have noticed,are unscrupulous in ways in that 4 of the other 5 people selected besides me are copy-pasting from wherever they possibly can and the website refuses to acknowledge it.
So,can I reuse the essays I've already submitted?
