Do we have rights of gaurdianship?
We are currently taking care of a 15 year old who has been kicked out of his home and will not be allowed to return home unless he submits to his churchs requiements, unless he "repents" in front of the church, public announcment, his parents refuse to let him come home. they are not providing for himin any way and he has been living with us for almost 2 months already. If he wont submit to their church he cant go home. he wants to go home and is willing to follow family rules, but isnt sure where he stands with his faith. does not want to submit to a church just his parents. What recourse do we have to help him? Can we get guardianship so we can provide for him, medical and otherwise without parent consent, his parents know he is at our house and where we live, We have tried to contact the parenst but they refuse to respond. What do we do?
