Thanks,

That is your best bet. Thats how I paid for my college (gov actually paid 98%) At the time I was a single mom - so it depends on your situation - but they are a BIG help.
Some GREAT sites to get grants (free money - you don't pay back) are:
www.fedmoney.org
www.students.gov
Student Loans are really bad on your credit, but if you have to do it then do it. College is worth the $$.
Apply for EVERY grant you can. Even if you think you can't get it - try anyway. You never know. The college should have a finantial aid department to help you and they really are the experts on it. Most are students doing a work-study (fafsa pays them to help you) so they will be honest and help you. They don't (as far as I know) make any type of commision or anything.
Please avoid credit cards and home equity. They may seem like a quick fix, but they will ruin your credit worse than student loans.
