How do I get my transcript from a school that is closed?
I contacted Illinois dept. of Education and they do not have my records. The school is now closed. I have paid the student loan back in full. It does appear on my credit report and ISAC (Illlinois Student Assistance Comission) where I received the loan, does not have me in their record either. My loan was defauted at the time it was paid off. My new employer has stated that if I can proved that I had the loan this would be satisfactory. Can someone please help! Is there any legal advice?
