Job qualifications

I would like to take my career in the Animal Assistant category. Do I need a degree for that, or do most vets have on the job training? Thanks Rita White,

Here in Colorado, a vet tech may earn his or her right to take a board exam by practicing On the Job Training. This rule differs from state to state. In Washington for instance, you must complete 200 hours with a licensed Veterinarian, then you may apply to a school Veterinarian Technical traing, after completing 2 years of school you can take your licensing exam.
