Other than memberships dues, fund-raising functions, and donations, how can our 501(c)3 foundation solicit funding dollars?

Other than membership dues, fund-raising functions, and donations how can our 501(c)3 foundation solicit funding dollars? How do we get on national registries as a small education and charitable foundation? Any suggestions are welcomed.

You can try asking for federal or state grants. There is a specific style in grant writing, but perhaps you could find a volunteer or a grad student who is familiar with grant writing. I used to work with a group at a university that provided services for sex assault survivors and a grad student helped all of us ask for grants. There are many books on the topic as well that could teach you.
