Whose responsibility is it to ensure the safety of all employees in the workplace?

General safety policy dictates that "everybody" is responsible for safety in the workplace. Employers can only provide a safe working environment, proper training and reminders to be safe. The employees themselves need to watch out for each other and follow common sense rules of safety. That makes everyone responsible.
