I agree! Especially when they are convicted of crimes - 17 DUIs never going to happen for a normal person. They will put you in jail - do not pass go!

Some of them have the god ego complex that things they are immune to the rules of normal men.

i've met some down to earth celebs that are some of the nicest people. they aren't all like that.

it is the select few that give the rest of them a bad name.

I have met many celebs and pro athletes. For the most part they are all down to earth "normal," people.

Well I think that there are a lot of harsh realities to being famous. You can't go anywhere and just enjoy normal things anymore. You are constantly followed around. So i understand why they shell out big bucks to stay at private island resorts. I also think it's easy for a person to get caught up and take for granted the things they have. Eventually you would stop enjoying the richiness and consider it normal life you would forget about striving and living paycheck to paycheck.

with all of that said celebrities are still human beings and they do the same things everyone else does, including making mistakes. but I don't think they should be above the law, or get a lighter sentence just because of who they are.

we seem to be in a phase of celebreality where fame comes more from wacky stunts and bad behavior than from actually acting ability and talent and thats really a shame.

Celebrities are normal people too you know.
