Cookie party drink ideas?

I'm going to a cookie party and I was asked to bring a drink alcoholic. I don't know what to bring. I know port is good with chocolate? Any other desert drinks?

Desert wines are great for cookie parties. They are sweeter than other wines, but they still have the acidity that balances them out. Since you don't know what cookies people will bring, you should a light fruity wine that would go with cookies that have fruit (goes well with fruit pies too) and choose a dark wine like a port which will go great with anything chocolate!

Grasshoppers (the drink ;-) are good with mint cookies and look festive - especially if you top w/ a mint cherry.
