Digital TV and Converter Box

I have a new digital TV and am receiving an antenna signal. Will I need a converter box and if so, why.

No , the converter box is for older tv's. You can subscribe to cable-satellite tv or purchase an antenna to get your local tv channels , and a little bit more but it's not cable tv you'll see just local channels.

If your signal is digital you will not need the converter box. Also if you have cable tv you will not need a converter box.
