How do I hook up a converter box to a projector.

I am going thru a AVR-589 Denon receiver. I have a DTT-901 zenith converter box, and a panasonic PT-AX200u projector. I have tried hooking directly to the projector and thru the receiver. Either way I can't get a picture. I do get a picture on the t.v. with it though. I have component video cable, and RCA cables.
