If it came without a manual, does that mean you bought it used? If so, did you test it before buying? If you purchased it new, then call the place you purchased it from and tell them you did not recieve your manual. Either way, it sounds as though it is defective as it is not getting power. I personally would return it. The manufacturer is in the UK, so if you are outside the UK, to call them you need to dial: 0-207-935-4679. Hope this helps. Susu
