What are you looking for exactly? If you could post back with a bit more clarity on what it is you want.

If you were to look for the popular dance clubs, then the SOCO clubs would be your best bet.

That would include Church, Vinyl, 2 AM, Milk Bar and Shelter.

Then there are lots of trendy bars throughout lodo and Denver.

Are you more into Country thing, then there is Country Lounge next to Coors field and The Grizzly Rose.

Are you into coffee houses? Have you been to Paris on the Platte?

Some other clubs are Bash, Rise, Crave, and the one at Champa and 22nd (blanking on its name at the moment)

Hope that helps, or gives you some direction in what you are looking for.

Well I will be staying close to the airport. My friends and I like dancing to hip hop, and it is always better to do so when the bar has a bunch of people. I don't really know my way around Denver to well, so something fun that's easy to find.

Between 18th street and 20th street and Blake and Market. There are a few places down there that play hip hop. One of my favorites is LoDo's - it's on 19th and Market. It's 2 stories and has a roof top bar for when it gets really hot.

Don't waste your time:

Bash - Great music, but it is ghetto! I've slashed my foot on a piece of broken glass in the bathroom and there are ALWAYS fights and creepy guys.

Jacksons - Really fun to chill on the roof and watch a game and have some beer with friends, but they advertise themselves as a club, but no one is ever there.

Market street is fun and a good place to start - but be sure and leave early if you want a cab before 6am. If you are driving, there is a lot at 18th and market where I always park because to the north are all of the hip hop clubs and to the south are the "hook-up" trendy martini bars so you can go where the night takes you :)

Have fun - Denver is a blast!

There isn't really anything near the airport. Since it is kinda in the middle of nowhere.

If you are looking for hip-hop there are all the bars in LoDo, that would be the area just south of Coors Field. Most of the bars there play a mix of hiphop.

There is quite a bit of hip hop stuff if you go south of colfax.

The Church - hip hop in the basement thur and fri. and upstairs on sunday.

Vinyl - tues has hip hop, as does friday night and the basement on sat

I'm sure there are a few more places around Denver too. These are just the hip hop places I know of off the top of my head.

This one told me where they are and which ones not to go to. I appriciate the fact that she doesn't even know me and told me the places not to go.
