OMG - THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW!

I haven't seen that show in soooo long. I loved this show created by Carl Reiner. The antics of Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) each week was hysterical! His wife Laura Petre (Mary Tyler Moore) was enchanting, graceful and elegant. They had a son named Ritchie. She showed such asimple style with such class.

Buddy Sorrell (Morey Amsterdam) and Sally Rogers (Rose Marie). Mel Cooley (Richard Deacon) were Rob's co-workers. Carl Reiner played Alan Brady. The office crew wrote jokes for The Alan Brady show, which kept me cracking up. I preferred the scenes at the Petree's home - I just loved their kitchen. Always wanted the very same kitchen setup, for when I ot older..

I always looked forward to The Dick Van Dyke show. I still hum the tune in my head as I rvisualize Rob falling over the foot stool in most of the openings!

Thanks or reminding me of that wonderful show.

I love a lot of shows from the 60s. When I was growing up they had reruns of 60s shows on Nick At Nite. Whenever I stayed home sick, there were reruns of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanie on TV to watch during the day. It's hard to pick a favorite but I will go with Bewitched as my favorite.

It was just so fun to watch Bewitched and see what kind of powers Samantha would use even though Darrin didn't want her using any powers. Her mother Endora was hilarious and it was funny to see her interfering all the time and annoying Darrin.

Star Trek from 1966 to 1969. Those were the days with Captain Kirk, Spock, Dr. Mccoy, Scottie, Uhura, Sulu, Chekov and Nurse Chapel.

My favorite television show from the 1960's would have to be Get Smart. The recent film did not do that show justice.
