We want to have a high school banquet in the spring. Where would be a great place to have one that would not be too expensive?

We would like to bring in our own caterer or find a place that is not too expensive. We have used some of the nicer hotels before and would like to try something fun and different. Do you have any suggestions?

In my little town we use the Knights of Columbus hall. It is beautifully decorated and is used for everything from bingo to weddings. The best this about using the knights of Columbus hall is that if you have a member who is a member of the Catholic church there then alo of times the rental is free. This hall is used for all sorts of secular activities and functions.

If you really want something different, make it a picnic. Spre3ad a bunch of blankets on the grass, rental a portable speaker system and have some fun. It's cheap, hardly ever done and very casual. We had one years ago and now it's an annual event at my alma mater.
