How can i cash a savings bond that belonged to my deceased father?

My father died three years ago and i want to know how to cash his savings bonds

You are probably going to have to prove that the bonds are legally yours -- you will most likely need a copy of the death certificate, and the will (if he left one) or some other way of showing that the bonds are yours and not part of his estate (which might have to be split among beneficiaries). The folks at your bank will have a procedure that they have to follow for it.
