Going from 3 years of HSA plans to a non-HSA plan

In 2006, 2007, and 2008 I had a HSA high deductible health insurance plan that was subsidized by my employer. Due to downsizing, I now need to buy my own individual health insurance. If I buy a non-HSA plan, can I still use my HSA debit card to pay for HSA qualified medical expenses? If I buy a non-HSA plan, can I still make contributions to my HSA account?
