Well, the primary thing is to write great content. People always come back to your articles if you write great content. Magazines and websites are also more likely to buy your articles if the content is something that readers would really want to read.

If you're talking about submitting articles and using Adsense or affiliate ads to make money, then the above remains true. But you've got to create traffic for those articles as well. So you'll need a bit of SEO knowledge, whether you like it or not.

You can get paid by the online writing sites by writing great articles for the. But i would highly recommend everyone to make your own website or blog. Because writing for other sites will make you dependent on other sites and you will have minimal chances to grow. You very own revenue will be shared and you will not get handsome income. Moreover, if the writing sites owner/managers would not like your articles, they will stuck you off and close their doors for you to write for them. You should believe that and it is a bitter truth.

However, if you want to write for other writing sites, go for infobarrel.com and squidoo.com. But is is highly recommended to write your own free blogs by blogger.com .

Join the writing sites and begin writing. It's that simple. They will pay you either through their site or you will be paid by google. You just need to know what sites to write for. Here are some websites where you can make good money writing online.

xomba.com
shetoldme.com
bukisa.com
snipsly.com
associatedcontent.com
yousaytoo.com

Each are different in their own way. You can test them out and pick the one that you like best.

How to get paid for writing depends on the site you are writing for. They pay in different ways, some for page views and others will pay a set amount up front for the article itself. I like writing for several different sites so I'm not dependent on any one site for my entire income.

One of the sites I use is Helium Content. There is a wide variety of titles that you can write to or you can start your own if you like. They also have assignments that you can choose from to get paid an up front fee for your article. If you just write to one of the existing titles, you get paid through revenue sharing from the site. That means that when people pull up your article and read it, the site makes money through displaying ads and they share that revenue with their writers. The more popular your articles are, the more money you can make. They show you how much money you are making per article, per day and you can get paid once your account reaches $25.

Associated Content is another good site. When you submit an article to them, you have the option of submitting it for consideration for an up front payment. If it is approved you will get credited with a set amount and then your article will also earn for page views or what they refer to as performance payments. They pay an amount ranging from $1.50 - $2 per 1000 page views. Not all article topics are illegible for up front payments but all of them can earn performance payments.

Hubpages is a site slightly different from other writing sites. Your articles can be more like mini- websites as you can add other content to it like photos and video. There are several ways to make money with your content. They place Adsense ads on your pages and give you a share of the revenue. You can also ad Amazon product modules on the site and off related books and materials for sale. If someone clicks through and makes a purchase, you get a share of that revenue.

Squidoo is a site much like Hubpages where you can create mini-websites about a variety of topics, also with many ways to monetize them and make money.

One of the best ways to make money with writing though, is with your own blog or website. You have the most control of your content that way and can monetize it any way you want. While you will have to pay the costs of registering your domain and hosting it, you won't have to share revenue with anyone. You get to keep it all.

There are many other writing sites on the internet. I've told you only about a few that I use and have success with. I recommend you check out each site thoroughly for yourself. Read their terms and how you can make money with them and what exactly you get paid for. Then decide which ones you would like to try.

No matter which site or sites you choose, just remember that you will need to write a good amount of content on any site to see any significant return. Just writing a few articles won't make you much. You need to submit many high quality articles to build up a good income, but if you do, you will see your income grow. There are writers that have several hundred articles submitted and they make money every month from them. There are writers on Associated Content that have over a million page views and that translates to a significant dollar amount.

One of the best things about writing online is that, once you submit articles to sites that pay revenue sharing for page views, the articles keep making money for you every month. You just keep writing and adding more articles to build up your income.

I know you're ready to start writing now! Good luck.

Since it takes a while to be able to break the entry gate to writing sites that pay outright in cash, try writing for the top revenue sharing writing sites. I know you know most of these already, as they're everywhere online, such as hubpages, associatedcontent, xomba, squidoo, etc.

But what I can proudly recommend right now is Best-Reviewer.com. How is this revenue sharing site different from the others?

1. You don't have to spend hours to create a profitable article. There's already a format, almost like fill in the blanks. There are only two types of articles: a Top 2 to Top 20 article, and a How Much Does (any person or occupation) Make? article. Just create your post around the most searched keywords, and you're a go.

2. The website is well optimized. I also write for other sites, where I spend a lot of time researching, collecting photos, getting interesting facts, etc. But I'm really amazed that my Best-Reviewer articles are the ones appearing on my Google Adsense URL channel list.

3. James Colin, the owner of the site, from time to time, gives useful tips such as about most searched keywords.

4. The third-party tracking of the site is open for members to see. You can see which things are being searched online, and how the site is performing. You can get ideas on which topics to write about.

5. The website has a free automatic support, James' older website, SheToldMe. With just a click, your post can spread to the SheToldMe world.

6. I'm earning from Best-Reviewer. I think you can still see my name on the sidebar of Best-Reviewer.

Well, there's also a referral scheme, and you might like to visit Best-Reviewer via this link. http://www.best-reviewer.com/referral/77777852 and thanks a lot. Best regards.

You can use web 2.0 properties such as Hubpages, Squidoo etc. and write articles for them. This will give you a share of the advertising income on those articles that you write. They include banner ads and affiliate marketing.

You can also set up blogs with blogger as they allow you to get advertising revenue from the blogs.

Another website is Constant Content. You can create high quality articles there and sell them for a high price.
