I want to sell prepared foods that I make in my home, how do I go about doing that?

I live on Florida ans want to start selling prepared foods but don't have the money right now to start a business. Can I sell prepared foods at flea markets, produce stands etc?

Anything handled with your "hands" you need a license. If it is prepackaged, like bags of chips, you can sell them anywhere you want, flea markets, etc. I am not sure on the license name or type, but it would be similar to the ones that those people that sell the hot dogs outside of stores on the little stands. Go to the county court house and ask, and refer to those vender people selling food in front of the stores. You might be able to get a "mobile business" type setup. Also, there might be a license to get in the local city office too. One should tell you if the other is needed - but check to be sure.
