I can answer this one, yea! The best place in Texas to grow a year-round garden is in the Brownsville area. Averages in January being a low of only 49.9 degrees and the average high being around 52.5 degrees. August is the hottest month (go figure) with a high of 97.7 and the lows around 75.4. They recieve moderate rainfall with the least occuring in March at a little less than an inch, and the most in September around 6 inches. Corpus Christie and Houston are not too bad either, but you could have a freeze or two kill some plants and the occaional hurricaine or tropical storm drowning plants. Obviously, Orlando has great weather year round, with wonderful pop up showers and thunderstorms that I love. The risk here is tropical storms and hurricaine flooding, but climate-wise, the low in January is 49 with a high of 71. The hottest month is August with a low around 74 and a high around 97. Hope this helps, Susu
