What time does the money take effect on my food stamp card?

What time does the money take effect on my food stamp card ? Like any other forms of payments that take affect at 12 midnight on the date of the day that you get your pay check or ebt card or social security or any other form of payments . this is the standard time fix for all online payments that go direct.

I'am sorry to say that kbky11 is wrong i to get the ebt card it use to come in at 12 midnight not it on the card at 6 in the morning

I was supposed to get my ebt food card money on sunday 9/5/09 it was not there the morning of 9/6/09, why?

Juleig the answer to your question is that they was having promlems with the computer's it should come on time next mo even some of the people internet was was off all day the 5 my was off all day on the 6 hope this helped

Contact your case worker and let them know that you are having trouble receiving your food stamps. I typically get mine on the 2nd or 3rd at around 3 or 4 in the morning....it hasn't been loaded onto my card at the same day and time. They told me it would be loaded every 1st of the month....but that doesn't happen.

Speak to your social worker. Make sure you have submitted all required paperwork. I have to submit a quarterly report in order to maintain benefits....they may need this type of information from you in order to continue benefits.

I am in the same boat, I was supposed to get my benefits 9/609 and nothing yet, today they checked and saw my case is active and all clear, the ebt card people say the card is good but no funds? Has anyone else been late like this before?

I'm surprised by how many people cannot answer this question in a straight forward statement. Food stamp benefits should be applied at midnight on that day. Recently the dates have changed for all users as they are updating the systems. You should receive a letter with an explanation of this change. Example - my Food Stamp credits are listed to be applied on the 9th, which means after the 8th at midnight. My benefits are late like most of you here, this is the first time they have ever been late, and I believe its due to computer updates that they've installed. No one at DHS will ever admit it because they don't have time for complaints. After all your not supposed to bite the hand that feeds you RIGHT?

I had apply for food stamp and i got my card the same day i went on the 9-909 i though that i was going to have my money on the same day. and every morning i call to see do i have anything on it

The money is suppose to be put on your card at 12 midnight but for some apparent reason they are having problem doing this mines was suppose to be put on my card today but it has not 09/14/09 anyone else still having this problem.
