I?ve always pressed harder when I knew the batterers were dead. I think it?s like trying to squeeze that last dropped out of a drink container. I think by pushing harder I might get the last bit of juice out of the battery.

It's like when you're trying to speak to someone that doesn't speak your language - you talk slower and louder - why!?! They're still not going to be able to understand! And the remote control still won't work if the batteries are dead...
