Where do you think I can find a potato?

The grocery store has potatoes. Idaho has potatoes. Wal-mart has potatoes, if it is a supercenter.

Is it a tater or a potatoe. is it sweet or white , red or yellow , in the ground or in the bag in the store or in the market.

Potatoes are nightshade, be afraid!

None of these answers is correct. The question is "where do you (the expert) think I (the questioner) can find a potato". It is a game in which the questioner knows where he/she can find a potato and the experts have to guess or speculate on what this might be given the tone of the question and its seeming naivity. My answer therefore is in the lampshade of the living room.

The potato my friend has been washed, sliced, fried and ate at dinner last night with lots of ketchup.. and boy was it yummy........ sorry its all gone.

I am going to break this question down into two parts: Where do you think? and I can find the potato?

1) Where do you think?

You can think nearly anywhere, whether it's going to the bathroom, taking a shower, having a massage, or just staring outside daydreaming. In fact, I cannot recall finding a place where I couldn't think or react to any nearby stimulus. So the answer to 'Where do you think?' is anywhere you want.

2) I can find the potato?

The answer to that question, quite simply, is yes. Especially since, as explained in the first part, you can think anywhere you want. Take your time and remember where you last put or had the potato. With a little effort, you CAN find the potato.

I think you can find a potato in the last spot it was placed.
Judging from the question and the included picture, I would say wrapped in foil on the grill in your local park.
