Well in my opinion life is all about preserving life. Even if that means at the expense of your own. So yes. However we never know what we would do, until the situation presents itself. Lots of pets dying in the ocean right now. Only a matter of time, before people willing to die for them, leads this country down a whole new road. If they do not fix it soon, stuff is going to start getting crazy. This I assure you.

No, I wouldn't. I see pets as cute and cuddly emergency food rations. The two cats my wife and I own view us the same way.

Accidentally -- I could risk my own life to save my pet as a reflex, or on instinct (e.g., turning the bicycle instead of hitting your dog trotting ahead of you). Otherwise, I might try to save my dog from a burning building, but only because my ego is bigger than the fire.

In the end, and beyond all of the ideologies that always seem to look better on paper than in real life, we all have our limits (even our pets). There is only so much of ourselves that we would consciously and willingly risk before we choose to save our own butts instead of our pet's.

Yes, I would. I don't have children, and my husband is in the military. Being young in a new place is hard, and my dog means everything to me. I was not an animal lover by any means before I got him, but now he is the most comforting aspect of my life, something I can always count on. I would risk my life for him because I can't imagine living without him.

Actually it depends upon the bond and love of the care taker of the pets.

Those who would come with all he risks in their life would be the one who would have gone through such an pleasent cum horrible experiance with their pets.
I have an example of my friends neighbour, who earlier had a dog. One night the theives came to rob their house with knives, and they were not just threatning with the weapon but trying to attack also. But their dog came to rescue the scene with deep wound on his body.

So that was the one of the many cases in which i think they would risk their life. So i want to say that the degree of attachment decides who would make his life meaning ful to their pets by risking their own life.

It's about one's opinion some will do some not it will depend upon how they behave with their pets some will care there pets as there friends or as a family members some will take more care at starting later they get bored and they won't be doing anything. So it's all about one mind and I will risk my life but I don't how I will react when there is a situation So just praying nothing should happen like that.
