Most Mc Coy pottery, of Roseville Ohio, marked in this manner. However, this is just one of the local potteries to do this...Brush, Treasure Craft, Shawnee , to name a few. Good luck!

Just a little more info on this question would help. Most potteries have some type of number underneath. It can be a model number for the vase or a pattern number. There is a website that can help you identify your vase by markings like that.

www.marks4ceramics.com

If you have no makers mark but just a number, they will search their database to see what items by makers marked vases us 155 and will return a list of possible makers.
You would then look at the vases and compare yours to the theirs to try and match makers.
