From your question, I am thinking you mean to say,

'What is a Limoges Broche' Dish?'

Limoges is a French porcelain made in the Limoges area of France. All porcelain form that area is Limoges porcelain, known for the special clay used for the porcelain.

Broche' is French for Pin. It is possible this word can be found on the bottom of a small dish that was specifically made to use for pins. In the Victorian times and before, there were very many 'pins' to keep track of! Hat pins, stick pins, shoe pins, the list goes on and on...

Women kept small trays or dishes on their vanities to keep pins from being lost. In France, the wealthier women would have had a Limoges Broche' Dish. Hand made and hand painted.

And if you are very lucky today, you have that very same dish with all its history!
