Birthday party games and crafts

What are some fun game or easy craft ideas for a 7 year old boy birthday party? His theme is basketball.

Awesome theme.

what about basketball sugar cookies with some orange icing and black piping.

Or have a water balloon toss with orange colored balloons. You can make them look like little basket balls but using a sharpie marker to draw the lines.

A version of pin the tale on the dockey except making it a who gets stills the ball in the net.

For me basketball is all about the colors blue and orange, unless he has a favorite team.

Those are some pretty cool ideas.

the cookies and "basketball balloon toss" is pretty neat. not sure if i would draw lines on them though.

Limbo, great for stretching also a game toss for accuracy or any type of finger dexterity games like pickup sticks , jenga, even thumb wrestling , musical chairs is good also for timing and rhythm all great preps for basketball.
