Can I do anything about my boss

I worked for a guy in West Valley City at a Internet cafe I was told it was a sweepstakes prize give away type game and I later learned its pretty much illegal gambling but anyways on Sunday September 13th I went to work and when I arrived one of the other workers there told me that me, him and my manager at the time was getting fired and I asked why and he said because he wanted all new people and he had already hired our replacements so after his shift he went in the office and came back out and said he got fired then the manager got there and I asked her if she knew anything about that she said no so we worked that night and we worked late so he told me and my manager we could leave and he would close out our cash drawer the next day he said our drawer was 200 dollars short and he was keeping our checks to pay back the money so I went there and finally got my check but we were harrassed and ridiculed and called thieves all because he had no reason to fire us that night he had said a big jackpot was going to hit and everyone should stay playing because we werent going to close until it hit he was trying to get his customers to keep purchasing more because they thought a jackpot was about to hit when it never hit it was suppose to be 2,500 he said he would split the money with everyone there so he took 130 dollars for 12 people out of drawer and gave people he put the other 1,000 in his pocket thats a scam he does all the time he treated me very badly the whole time I work
