How do you string a multi strand seed pearl necklace

I have 15 strands of 1.7mm seed pearls and would like to string them so they stay twisted. I have strung them on No.1 high performance thread and have tied all the strands at one end together. I have fitted this end into a cup shaped cap and with a wire, I have fitted this through the cup hole and using round nose pliers, I have shaped the wire to form a hook that will be attached to a mabe pearl that will form a clasp. My problem is how to twist the 15 strands so they will stay twisted and at the same time, fit the other end of the strands into the other cup shaped cap. I hope you will be able to help me.
