I have a 18 year old carrier heat pump,
I have done hvac service for 14 yrs but have been out for abount 6 yr specialize in trane, my outside unit does not come on i can push the contactor in and the comp and fan come on i am not getting 24v on the y @ c terminals where does the 24 come from a/h or relay. on a call for cooling does it go from the tstat the the a/h than outside becomes the indoor fan does come on. please help, and can i bypass to get the outdoor unit on i do have 24v on r@C. thanks mike
