What dirt bike do you recommend for an adult beginning motocross?

I am thinking of riding a dirt bike at 35. I need direction on a reliable bike. Can you help?

Depends on what your comfortable level is and you say you started motocross, are you just riding for the first time, or racing?

If you're a first time dirt biker try starting something with a lower cc, like a 250, (maybe a Honda CR250R) and move up as you feel comfortable. It's usually not a good idea to jump right onto a XR650R for your first bike!

First of all what kind of experience level and motorcycle knowledge you have makes a difference. I have been doing this for 20 years. I have been very happy with Honda products. The 250 are very easy to work on and if you are going to crash alot there will be repair work to be done. Good luck!
