If you want something fun for the family - the bowling game that comes with most of them is a lot of fun and up to four can play at a time. Plus you can make fun characters which the kids will love.

The sports one really is good and has something for everyone. My 6-year old daughter kicked my butt in bowling and I think the tennis game is amazing and really rewards strategy and skill. Don't really like the Golf as its too slow. The only downside to the WII is I frequently feel the urge to buy a huge TV. Fortunately the feeling passes after I check the prices.
