Onomatopoeia is a noun, it is a representation of a sound by an imitation..for example, the cat "mews"...it can also represent harsh and unpleasant sounds..It is also define as the formation or use of words such as buzz or murmur that imitate the sounds associated with the objects or actions they refer to.
