The rule of thumb will Alli is that it will work, especially if you exercise, but if you deviate from the plan or eat more than 15 grams of fat at a meal, you will have some bathroom issues. You also need to be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

It is a reduced strength version of Xenical which is a prescription doctors have used for years to treat obesity. How it works is it decreases the absorption of fat by the intestines, so that more of what you eat goes right through you but you still get the nutrients that your body does need. Makes sense why it makes you go to the bathroom more. People who stick to the plan don't have as many side effects, so do that and you'll be golden.
