Chemo Treatment Port

I need as much info as possible about a Q Port inserted in the arm of a chemo patient. I haven't been able to find much about it on the internet. Links would be very helpful since I will be fwd-ing all info to my aunt.

Mma_mom - hereis one link that might help you:

I'm not able to fimd much about a "Q Port" specifically either. This makes me wonder if it's not mis-spelled or different than what you are calling it. Some of the common port types I see are:

Port-A-Cath, BardPort, PassPort, Medi-port

Thanks, my aunt's doctor told her it was called a Q-Port, but together we figured out it is a Port-A-Cath.
