Bumps inside mouth

I have a bump inside my mouth on my right side and it's the 2nd time it's come back. It's not painful but very annoying, and it keeps getting bigger because I keep accidentally chewing on it. What is it and what can I do about it.

Normally, I would think it may be an ulcer caused by irritation to that area or possibly a yeast infection of the mouth known as "thrush."

But there could be other causes, and more serious ones. You didn't mention whether the bump was white or red. Check out the following web page or continue navigating on that site for some help: http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec08/ch113/ch113b.html

Either way, you should ask your doctor because even if it's not so serious, he or she will still be likely to prescribe you some type of rinse or medication for your problem.
