Could a lump on cheek be cancer?

I have a lump on my cheek it's been there for a year now and it's about the size of a dime. It doesn't hurt but it has started to grow a lot in the past couple months. I am worried it may be cancer considering I frequent tanning beds.

Hello Son435...Without benefit of being able to see this lump or feel it, I can only tell you that this should be further evaluated by your physician...This could be as simple as a subcutaneuos cyst or a small fatty tumor...I do not like to hear of patients that worry so about Cancerous lesions...Even though I am sure that it is frightning to you, you may be worrying needlessly....Get this thing checked out so that you will have peace of mind...It is not healthy to be so stressed...Please, keep us posted. Good Luck and God Bless.
