I was given a PPD yesterday in prep to receive Enbrel Shots ...

Although the injection site is slightly red but not puffy, I feel awful. It started yesterday late afternoon with a very sore throat. Over the night I continued to feel worse. I have a wicked sore throat, my sinuses are stuffy, my eyes are puffy and sensitive and I ache from head to toe. I had a slight fever (99.7) during the night but I took some tylenol and it's back to normal now. Could this be a reaction to the stuff injected under my skin?

This could certainly be side-effects of the injection..If these symptoms do not subside within 24 hrs, I would suggest that you report these symptoms to your physician..If you received the injection at your health department, inform them of these symptoms.....Please keep us posted...Some of these symptoms are normal..However, you still need ot report these symptoms..Better safe than sorry..Good Luck and God Bless.
