Left sided abdominal pain is often a symptom of diverticulitis. Without further details it is hard to tell. If you have a history of constipation alternating with loose stools this is a possibility. If you are having problems with urination it could be an issue with a kidney. If the pain continues I would suggest seeking medical attention.

Any other symptoms? Best to see a physician. Left side pain can often turn out to be appendicitis
