How long does less severe side effects of Zoloft last?

I am experiencing the normal side effects of Zoloft. They really make you feel quite misrable. Today will be my third day on the drug and I woould like to know how much longer I have to go. I know that I will not feel the complete relief of symptoms until 4 weeks, but I hope the side effects go away much sooner than that.

Side effects of Zoloft ? this will bother you for about 2 weeks till the system settles down and will only make you feel bad if you think about it all the time. and get out and enjoy yourself i know this is hard to do but this is the way i cope with the meds when i have to change or take new meds and i get dizzy and sweat and see things out of the corner of the eyes and can not sleep or eat right and a lot of other things that bother me. but ive learned to get out and do somehting new and it dont last as long and i just dont pay att. to it any more. because i know in the long run that it will get better!

Side effects from Zoloft may last indefinitely. If you have not experienced less side effects in 5 to 7 days contact your Physician. There are things you can try which may be effective in relieving the side effects. If you take it in the morning, try taking it at bedtime. If you take it on an empty stomach, try it with food. Remember there are many very effective anti-depressants out there and something is bound to work for you. Don't give up.
