Epidemal side effects

I am experiencing pain, soreness lower back, headache, numbness in arms and legs 5 days after having a cortizone shot in my lower back. I had 2 last year with great results, however this one has been a disaster for me. I have been using Aleve and a moist heating pad which helps but feel like the area has inflammation and needs time to settle down? What do you recommend?
